Who’s Your Cowboy?

Kitsch or The Fine Art of Bad Taste.

This piece is ironic, examining the opposite of what is showing, examining the links between something that is subjective, bad taste, and the point at which it becomes interesting.  Linking the familiar format of a vintage Barnum & Bailey circus poster with a modern-day Rodeo Clown, with outrageously oversized hat and bandana, and asking the question: who is the real hero cowboy, the cowboy riding the bull, or the Rodeo Clown who saves and protects the fallen cowboy by engaging the bull, on foot, enticing, dodging, and distracting the often-enraged bull?
